The official route stays free
Every official route, calculator, and saved route is free. Paid providers and NewState Drive services are optional and appear after the government path they relate to.
How NewState Drive may be paid
We may receive a referral fee, commission, fixed placement fee, or other compensation when you start or complete a transaction with certain third-party providers. We also charge the price shown at checkout for NewState Drive services such as preparing and tracking an eligible mailing.
Compensation does not change official requirements or which options qualify. A provider appears only for the named service and state, and availability can change.
What an optional provider listing means
The listing identifies the provider, what it offers, whether you will leave NewState Drive, and any price or fee information available to us. A provider listing is not a government endorsement or a claim that the paid service is required. Quotes, approvals, savings, refunds, delivery, and final terms are controlled by the provider.
When information is shared
Your information is shared only with the provider you choose and only after you choose to use that provider. Opening a route or seeing an offer does not send your contact information to the provider. See the Privacy Policy for the route details and referral-tracking data that may be sent when you continue to a provider.
Comparisons and rankings
We do not call an option the cheapest, best, or fastest unless the comparison uses current, comparable terms. Providers must cover your state and service, regardless of compensation. Sponsored placement, if offered, will be labeled and will not replace the free official action.
