The state rules behind the ledger
- Destination title and registration
- Register the out-of-state vehicle within 30 days after moving to Oklahoma at Service Oklahoma or a participating Licensed Operator.
- Destination tax and fees
- The Licensed Operator finalizes the fees and taxes. Use Service Oklahoma's estimator for planning, but expect the visit total to control.
- Inspection or VIN
- Bring the vehicle because most vehicles previously titled in another state need a physical VIN inspection before Oklahoma can issue its title.
- Old-state recovery
- No source-complete Michigan move-out refund rule is currently available in the calculator. Do not count an unverified refund as savings.
