The destination state controls registration and still decides what document it can use and where it must go. The lender handles the title it holds, and the two paths need to meet before the state can finish the transfer.

    Update the primary and garaging address in Volkswagen Financial Services My Account, then open a secure message for the interstate title and registration move.

  2. 02Use the approved channel

    Log in to My Account, open Message Center, and send the move request through the secure message channel. Volkswagen says it will help get the vehicle registered and titled.

  3. 03Plan for the handoff

    Volkswagen Financial Services does not publish one nationwide turnaround time for this request. Start before the destination deadline and wait for the account-specific document instructions before filing.
