Do I have to register my vehicle in Arizona?

Arizona does not exempt nonresident active-duty military from registering a vehicle in Arizona outright, but it exempts them from paying the vehicle license tax (VLT) portion of the annual registration. They must still register the vehicle, provide a commanding officer's affidavit or LES proving nonresident status, meet emissions requirements, and pay the registration fee (and any commercial/weight/late fees).

Spouse and dependents

Renewal grace period while deployed
