What to do with Mississippi plates after moving to Michigan

After the destination registration is active, contact the Mississippi county Tax Collector to update the address tied to the old tag. Do not count on recovering the unused registration: Mississippi says the credit cannot be used after an out-of-state move and no refund is issued.
