Title and register through a county tax collector or motor vehicle service center after the license and insurance are in place.

Return the Pennsylvania plate before ending its insurance

After the destination registration is active, send the Pennsylvania plate and registration card to PennDOT's Return Tag Unit and retain delivery proof. Pennsylvania requires insurance on a currently registered vehicle and can suspend the registration after an uncovered lapse.
