Complete the replacement record
Complete the out-of-state title and registration transfer through the county treasurer after obtaining the required Kansas motor vehicle examination. Confirm the vehicle deadline with the county because the current transfer page does not publish a general new-resident day count.

Remove Texas plates and the windshield registration sticker
After the destination registration and plates are active, remove the Texas plates and the Texas registration sticker from the windshield.
