Start with Bank of America Auto's process

The destination state controls registration and still decides what document it can use and where it must go. The lender handles the title it holds, and the two paths need to meet before the state can finish the transfer.

    Contact the destination motor vehicle office to learn what it needs. Bank of America says the new state office can send the request for the necessary title documents.

  2. 02Use the approved channel

    If the destination office tells you to send the request, mail it to Bank of America, N.A., FL9-300-03-14, 9000 Southside Blvd Bldg. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256, fax it to 1.904.312.6230, or email Out_Of_States@bofa.com. The original title cannot be provided without a request from the state DMV.

    Bank of America does not publish one state-transfer turnaround on this page. Start before the destination deadline because the original title cannot be provided without the DMV request.
