Start with Infiniti Financial Services (IFS)'s process

The destination state controls registration and still decides what document it can use and where it must go. The lender handles the title it holds, and the two paths need to meet before the state can finish the transfer.

  1. 01Start here

    Update the address in the IFS online account, then ask the destination motor vehicle office what it requires and how quickly the vehicle must be titled and registered.

  2. 02Use the approved channel

    If the destination needs documents from IFS, call 1-800-627-4437 or use the live chat in the Infiniti Finance help center and identify the request as a State Change. For other questions about your IFS account, IFS Customer Service is 1-866-456-4124 (Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central), or you can write to P.O. Box 660360, Dallas, TX 75266-0360.

  3. 03Plan for the handoff

    IFS does not publish one nationwide document turnaround. Start promptly because its help article warns that a new state may allow only a short registration window before assessing penalties.
