Update the account address on the BMW Financial Services Profile page and elect to receive a Move Pack, or notify BMW Financial Services that re-registration documents are needed.

Use the online Profile and Move Pack path, complete the re-registration section on the back of an account statement, or contact BMW Financial Services customer service.
- 03Plan for the handoff
BMW says the new state may require re-registration within 30 days or less. Request the Move Pack before the destination registration deadline.

A lender request is only useful if the new state can use it
Some states want an original title. Others accept a copy, lien letter, or registration-only path. Some require the local office to start the request. The builder checks the destination first.

- The destination motor vehicle agency controls registration. The lender or lessor handles the title or ownership document it holds. The two paths need to meet before the state can finish the transfer.

- Should I enter my VIN or account number here?
- No. Add sensitive identifiers only inside the lender's own secure account, form, fax, mail, or other approved channel.
