Start with Space Coast Credit Union's process

The destination state controls registration and still decides what document it can use and where it must go. The lender handles the title it holds, and the two paths need to meet before the state can finish the transfer.

  1. 01Start here

    Ask the destination DMV to prepare a title request on official DMV letterhead. Space Coast says the request must include the borrower's name plus the vehicle identification number, year, and make.

  2. 02Use the approved channel

    Have the destination office fax its letterhead request to Space Coast Credit Union Loan Servicing at 321-752-2304. If the office prefers mail, confirm the current Loan Servicing address with SCCU before sending it.

  3. 03Plan for the handoff

    Space Coast does not publish a processing target. It says the title is mailed to the destination DMV by certified mail after it receives the request, so track SCCU receipt and the certified delivery separately.
