Cadillac Financial lien release

Paid off your Cadillac Financial loan? Getting the lien release and title

Cadillac Financial says it sends the title or lien release within 30 days of your final payment clearing, depending on payment method and state law. In states with electronic title systems, it says electronic titles or liens are released to the state agency about 10 business days after the account is paid in full, you are notified by mail, and the state may need extra processing time before you receive a title. It warns that your title may be sent to the wrong address if your address is not updated before the final payment.
