Paid off your Regional Acceptance loan? Getting the lien release and title
Regional Acceptance says it releases the lien on your title after payoff and reports the account status to the credit bureaus on the first of the month after the payoff date. Paper titles are mailed to the address given at payoff or the primary address on file. For electronic titles the lien is released through the state system, and in lien-statement states it sends a notarized lien release.
How to ask Regional Acceptance for the release or title
If nothing arrived, see the next step below.
Send a duplicate title or lien release request by fax, email, or mail to Regional Acceptance's Document Control address published on its Manage My Account page.
If it never arrived: If the original title goes missing after payoff, request a replacement lien release document from Regional Acceptance using the fax, email, or mailing address it lists. For electronic titles it says to contact your DMV for state-specific details.
